Primitive Adornments

The rustic brown pieces in the center of this page are wood fired. They are glazed on the inside, but the colors on the outside are from the ash build up that happens with 7 days in the kiln. The fire is stoked around the clock for those 7 days! Amy's prices for such a labor intensive process are very reasonable. These pieces are in the $25 to $35 range!

The other items you can see in this picture are electric kiln fired. The little blue spice jars on the left are just $7. The flask in the back on the right is $20, and the beautiful little tea cup with the blue leaf is part of a personal tea set. that includes the matching tea pot for only $55!

The cute little sake set in the middle of this picture is a three piece set that includes the little pitcher and the two matching shot cups for only $25!

Amy is great at custom orders! This is a piece she did for us. It is a replica of a 17th Century French/Canadian marmite. she did it from a picture that we found on line!

She uses several different firing methods incuding wood fire, pit fire, and both gas and electric kiln.

Moocher Mugs are little miniature mugs(approximatly the size of a shot glass) that no one minds filling when you say "What are you drinking?" $8.
